The Permanent Mission of Venezuela to the Organization of American States (OAS) opened the exposition “Poets of the Caribbean” at the headquarters of the hemispheric Organization in Washington DC, which compiles photos of 62 poets from the Caribbean.
Haiti was worthly represented in this exposition as four of the poets were from our beloved country, namely:
-Frankétienne
-Edwige Danticat
-Claude Pierre
-Gary Klang
Upon opening the exposition, the Permanent Representative of Venezuela to the OAS, Bernardo Álvarez, explained that the main message of the exhibition is focused on “supportive and complementary integration” and the unity of the countries of the region.
